Eclipse Choir gave a fabulous evening performance singing the repertoire we learned and perfected this year, led by choir director, James Hawkins, in front of a full house.
Our two main choirs, ‘Total’ and ‘Focus’, plus some small ensembles and soloists took to the stage in the brand new Events Space in The National Archives. We also welcomed our special guests, The Missing People Choir, who are also directed by Jim, and proceeds from our bar were all donated to The Missing People charity too.
‘Focus’, our SSA choir, delivered some wonderful performances, particularly driving through Sweet Dreams a Capella with passion, swinging through One beautifully, and wowing the audience with Stairway to Heaven and Golden Slumbers.
‘Total’ moved everyone with stunning SATB a Capella arrangments of Kiss From A Rose, The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face, and then in the second half, captivating the audience with Imagine and O Magnum Mysterium.
