We’re arranging auditions now
We’re actively recruiting new members to join our Solar Group of Eclipse Choir, which rehearses in Wimbledon on Thursday evenings from 7:30pm to 9:30pm. You don’t need to read music to join, but we do use musical scores, and we’ll encourage you to learn as you go along. It’s very exciting to pick up a new skill as well as singing beautiful music!

What will the audition be like?
You’ll find that the audition is very gentle and friendly, where you’ll be asked to sing in a private studio with Jim coaching you. We are auditioning people in groups of six, so you can arrange to audition with a friend if you wish. If we have demand we will add other slots to accommodate more singers.

We’re actively seeking new members for the Solar Group of Eclipse Choir with a specific need for tenor and bass singers. Contact us introducing a new tenor or bass singer and, subject to you both passing the entry audition, we will give you both 50% off your term’s membership fee.
This offer is open until midnight on Monday 28th September. New singers must both be signed up by this time for both parties to qualify for the discount.

Jim will not be teaching week commencing 21st Sept.

Membership
A term’s membership is £156, which is payable either termly, or monthly by direct debit at £39 per month over 4 months. We are a choir with ambition and pride ourselves on exceeding expectations by investing in our singers above and beyond a weekly sing. We consider Membership to be excellent value for money and we are committed to bringing out the best in every one of our singers.
Membership includes:
a minimum of 13 two-hour evening rehearsals per term
a level of coaching and performance that will exceed open entry choirs
‘extra-curricular’ events, for example a Saturday Workshop with leading experts in singing or performance
your own scores and access to our Members’ website for resources and extra tuition
a quality whole choir performance at the end of each term and opportunity to sing at other events as they arise
opportunities to sing in smaller ensembles and in events in the wider choral community
the chance to be part of an adventure in choral singing!

Thanks for your message. Yes, we have a few people who can’t make tomorrow, so I’m just sorting out with Jim another date. Would you be able to make a weekday evening (Tues / Weds / Fri)?
