On a summer evening, Eclipse Choir gathered with our director James Hawkins and about 50 headphone sets to record some raucous backing vocals for Ball and Boe’s latest album. It took some loosening up in an inconspicuous church hall to get the rowdy sounds required for their last track “What’s The Craic (An Irish Medley)” on Together At Home. Given that it was quite warm and the glass doors were open, it may not have been easy listening for the passers by, given that they wouldn’t have heard any music other than our voices. Needless to say, we had a great time!
The album is a great selection of songs, produced with applomb by the two artists, acclaimed music producer, Nick Patrick, and an amazing team of musicians, arrangers and studio team, including our very own Jim. Available to buy on Amazon and other stores, and on streaming servers. Why not have a listen?
